Announcements - May 1, 2016

• Immediately after the Joint Service there will be a group photo’s time. Then we will have a potluck lunch together. During the lunch, we will have a special sharing session about the future vision of Westside. 
• The deacon board meeting will be held right after the potluck lunch today. A seminar about “Medical Assistance in Dying – What Christians need to know” will be held on May 15 between 2pm and 4pm. Details and sign-up sheet can be found on the bulletin board. 
• Pastor Gladys will be taking her vacation from May 4 to 22. The guest speaker for May 8 is Rob Olgilvie, the BC area minister, and the guest speaker for May 15 is Pastor Lawrence Cheung, Chaplain at St. Paul’s Hospital. 
• There will be a community luncheon on May 15. $8 @ please register with your SG leaders. We are planning to re-start Homework Fellowship. Anyone interested to serve in this ministry please contact Pastor Gladys or Deacon Justin. 
• A parents’ outreach dinner will be held on June 19, 2016 at 6:00pm. The cost is $20 per adult. $10 per ages 4-10 child. Due to limited seating capacity, nonbeliever parents and their family will have the priority to buy the tickets. 
• The Children Summer Camp is open for registration now. The event is from July 4 to August 26. Please check the church website and bulletin board for more details.
